Lemon Herb Air Fryer Tilapia

Tilapia fillets brushed with olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, paprika, and garlic powder, then air fried until tender and lightly browned. This Air Fryer Tilapia is quick, simple, and easy to pair with all kinds of sides.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tilapia fillets 5 oz each
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 medium lemon sliced into wedges (optional)
  • Fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels.
  4. Brush both sides of each fillet with the olive oil and spice mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer so they are not touching.
  6. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, until the tilapia is lightly browned and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the air fryer. If using, squeeze lemon wedges over the fillets and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Cook in batches if needed for even airflow.
Start checking early if the fillets are thin.
Lemon is optional, but it brightens the final dish nicely.
